Opening Jump Rings

Step 1: With two pair of chain nose pliers, hold each side of the jump ring.  
Step 2: Gently push one side of the jump ring back to open it.  
Step 3: Attach whatever you need. To close the ring, pull the one side back in. Push and pull until the ring's edges are rubbing against each other (this may take some pushing inwards as well).
