Victorian Lace Cuff

This workshop enables students to create a richly textured cuff that is reminiscent of lace from the Victorian era. Students will learn how to create a framework made of seed beads. The framework is then filled in by using many different colored Japanese cylinder beads to create the illusion of a lace composed of numerous tiny flowers. Delicate Swarovski crystals or small pearls grace the center of each flower. The filling in process creates a remarkable three-dimensional appearance of old lace and a rich color palette lends an overall antique appearance to the cuff. This workshop is recommended for students with some beading experience. This workshop meets once.
