Pearl Pendant (Advanced Metal Clay)

In this class you will use your Metal Clay skills to create an elegant pendant that will gently cradle a beautiful half-drilled pearl. You will also learn techniques to add a bit of 24 karat sparkle to finished Metal Clay pieces. This workshop meets once.
**Previous Metal Clay experience required

Supply List • Pattern plates and texture surfaces (homemade, purchased, rubber stamp or polymer clay types also)
• Small, round shape cutters - less than 1 1/2" (canape, polymer or other clay type) OR basic drawing shape templates.
• Your own metal clay tool kit - roller, work surface, plastic strips, cutter, fine pointed paint brushes, tweezers, small files/sand paper, agate or other burnishers, etc.
• This list is a suggestion for experienced students and not meant to be all inclusive. Feel free to bring whatever tools and materials you normally use to work with metal clay and any items you would enjoy sharing with the class. Kiln, tumbler, drying and patina stations will be provided along with 20 gms of Art Clay Silver and half-drilled pearls.
