Beginning Metal Clay

This workshop will offer you a fun and thorough introduction designed to help you get started working with Silver Metal Clay. Lisa will demonstrate and discuss the simple tools and wonderfully inexpensive supplies needed to begin working with this amazing material. Learn to layer, make impressions, coils, molds and textures to create original jewelry pieces. This workshop meets once.

Supply List • All beginning tools & supplies for class use will be provided.
• Feel free to bring:
• Tools for other craft arts. For example: crochet hooks, dental tools, decorative paper punches, rubber stamps, texture plates, lace, textured paper, textured fabric, templates, metal punches and stamps, metal working tools, mini paint brushes, etc.
• Household items used to create interesting patterns. For example: screws, nuts, bolts, found objects, buttons (especially vintage!), old jewelry parts, fancy spoon handles, mesh produce bags, shampoo caps, plastic straws, leaves, feathers, etc.
